About the Role

Reporting to our Income Max Team Leader, you will play a key role assisting in maximising income paid to the Association by service users using methods compatible with our values of Respect, Inclusive, Integrity, Improvement & Support

You will play a key role in:

  • Providing admin support for Income Maximisation Team, answering phone calls on behalf of the IMT and deal with general enquiries.

  • Monitoring former tenant arrears including cause of arrears. Following both the write-off procedure and the former tenant balances procedure and populate the write-off spreadsheet appropriately

  • Maintaining close and effective working relationships with statutory and other agencies affecting Housing Benefit/Universal Credit and other rental income

  • Process daily notifications from Finance in relation to Direct Debits returned or cancelled and send letter accordingly. Noting on CX and advising Income Max Officer.

  • Completing verification tasks through the Universal Credit Landlord Portal and apply for Managed Payments to Landlord [MPTL] and arrears deductions, where appropriate.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Strong communication skills across phone, email and digital channels

  • Experience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Forms, Outlook and Excel

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience working as part of a team
