Senior Repairs Officer

West of Scotland Housing Association (WSHA) are looking for a new Senior Repairs Officer who shares our values and will use them to guide the way they work on a daily basis. You will be accountable to our Senior Technical Officer.

About the Role

Reporting to our Senior Technical Officer, you will oversee the team who are the first point of contact to our customers who want to report a repair and to liaise with all stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service

You will play a key role in:

·Assisting in managing and monitoring contractors performance in line with contractual targets

·Acting as the first point of contact for investigating, resolution and reporting of/managing customer complaints and compensation claims

·Line managing the Repairs Assistants in relation to sickness, holidays, reviews etc and advising Assistants (particularly regarding policy) with day to day procedure

You should:

•Have excellent communication and customer service skills including customer manner, team liaison and letters/ report writing skills.

•Be self-motivated with the ability to work using own initiative and meet challenging personal and team deadlines

•Have excellent numeracy and IT skills to maintain spreadsheets and operate an IT repair system
