Symington, South Ayrshire
Our new homes in Symington were completed in December 2018 with tenants now settling in to their new homes. We worked in partnership with MacTaggart & Mickel to deliver 34 affordable homes which form Symington’s first affordable housing development. The development is a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes and they are part of a wider new-build development which will also include privately owned homes and a Co-Op.
Earls Green, Troon, South Ayrshire (phase 2)
WSHA is working in partnership with Stewart Milne homes to create an additional 12 homes which are due for completion in Summer 2019.
Doonfoot, South Ayrshire
We are working in partnership with MacTaggart and Mickel to deliver 61 new affordable homes. Work is expected to begin on site in Autumn 2019 which sees the creation of our second phase of homes in Greenan, South Ayrshire.
Avon Drive, East Kilbride
We are working with Barratt David Wilson Homes to create 31 new homes on the former Rolls Royce site in East Kilbride. Work is underway on the mix of 1,2 and 3 bedroom properties, with completion expected summer 2019.
We are working in partnership with Springfield Properties to deliver 111 new build homes in Dalmarnock, Glasgow. The site, which is located next to Dalmarnock Train Station, will include a mix of Mid-Market Rent and Social Rented homes ranging from 1 to 5 bedrooms. The development is expected to be complete in early 2021 with further information about the mid-market rent homes available nearer the time.
Fielden Street, Glasgow
Construction of our Fielden Street development is due to start in Spring 2019. This will see the creation of 52 new homes which will focus on great design and high quality landscaped areas. The homes will be a mix of flats and townhouses meeting the needs of a range of tenants. We will also be incorporating a lift into the six-storey building to ensure full accessibility for those with mobility issues.
Springfield Cross, Glasgow
Work is due to begin on our Springfield Cross site in 2019, this project will be built to Passivhaus standard which is the highest standard there is in building performance. This will have financial and environmental benefits to tenants.
We are working in partnership with Igloo Regeneration to develop new affordable housing on the old Diageo site in the Port Dundas area of Glasgow. We are proposing to build around 90 new homes, most of which will be Mid Market Rent. Site start is expected in summer 2019.
