Reporting to the Development Manager, you will be required to undertake site-based quality inspections for associated new build housing projects, produce weekly detailed reports, and maintain a full and adequate register of drawings and carefully file all contract documentation. Working within a multi discipline team you will ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, Bills of Quantities and Conditions of Contract, British Standards, Codes of Practice, and other associated regulations are adhered to.
To achieve a high-quality standard, you will have highly effective interpersonal skills to work in partnership with contractors and customers, along with comprehensive understanding of safety, building and contractual requirements. You must be able to prioritise a varied workload, deliver to timescale and have good communication and IT skills. You will also have a wide knowledge of the construction industry and its practices.
