Getting Involved

We are committed to involving tenants in making decisions that affect them and their communities. Our tenants views are important to us and we encourage feedback to enable us to improve services. A number of ways you can get involved are:

  • Board – we have space for up to 8 tenant members
  • Tenant Advisory Group
  • Volunteering
  • Rate your Estate Assessor
  • Tenant Scrutiny
  • Providing Customer Feedback to any staff member
  • Community Events
  • Community Residents Groups

Members of the Tenant Advisory Group (TAG) are at the forefront of our engagement with tenants and welcome other tenants to join.

To find out more about how you can get involved, please contact Alistair Reid, Tenant Engagement Officer on 0141 550 5060 or

WSHA has finalised its Communications Strategy for 2017-2020 which outlines how we will communicate effectively with tenants. It is essential that we communicate regularly
with tenants and and in a way that suits their needs and we strive to continuously improve communications. For further information please contact Sabrina Allan, Communication & PR Advisor on 0141 550 5630 or

Rate Your Estate

The Rate Your Estate initiative has been in place since 2013. The scheme involves tenant inspectors visiting our communities where we have stock and grading particular aspects of the environment.

Following a review in early 2018 a working group of tenants recommended some changes that would mean that tenants were able to get feedback on how their inspections had led to changes.

The Inspectors have been on a tour of some of the areas where we have houses in the past few months and are now putting in place their inspection plan for the year ahead. If you would like the inspectors to visit your area, or would like to become a Rate Your Estate inspector, please get in touch via

When the inspections begin in 2019, we will provide updates on our webpage with the results.
