In 2022, following the transfer of tenancies from Charing Cross Housing Association to ourselves, we set aside a dedicated £100,000 kick-start fund for making improvements to the outdoor environment around Charing Cross. Since then we’ve been busy putting your plans into action.
So far we’ve collaborated with local residents to:
- Install new lighting and undertake repairs at Millennium Park
- Repair the gate at Willowbank Lane
- Remove overgrown vegetation at 145 Hill Street Garnethill
- Set up new Willowacre Trust gardening & environmental groups
But there’s loads more we can do. You know your area better than anyone, and you know the small changes that could make a big difference.
New lighting? Outdoor seating? New paving or playpark repairs? If you know of a local spot that could use some investment, apply to us using the form here.
Tell us as much as possible about what work needs done, including how much money might be needed – if you don’t know, don’t worry; we can discuss your project with you and get quotes if your project application is successful.
