Team WSHA deliver the spirit of Christmas

As part of our festive season celebrations, yesterday we had a lovely morning delivering the staff team’s donation of over 100 gifts to disadvantaged children as part of our annual 'spirit of Christmas' gift drive. This year the gifts went towards the incredible work of both Aberlour Children’s Charity and Glasgow Women’s Aid.

Aberlour helps children and families in Scotland to have a brighter future by working to beat poverty, disadvantage and discrimination to give all children the best possible start in life. Established in 1875, Aberlour’s work provides both urgent assistance and long-term support to struggling families, whilst campaigning against the causes of societal inequality.

Glasgow Women’s Aid have been supporting women, young people and children experiencing domestic abuse for over 50 years. Their annual ‘Mother Claus’ campaign provides gifts to women and children living in refuge, providing a little of the warmth and comfort of home.
