We aim to build 500 new homes across the West of Scotland in the next five years.

We work innovatively with a wide range of partners across the housing and construction sectors to continually improve the standard of new build properties we deliver. 

South Ayrshire

Doonfoot, South Ayrshire

We are working in partnership with MacTaggart and Mickel to deliver 61 new affordable homes. Work is expected to begin on site in  Autumn 2019 which sees the creation of our second phase of homes in Greenan, South Ayrshire. The first tenants are due to move into the new homes in Summer 2021.


Dalmarnock SiteDalmarnock, Glasgow

In March 2020 work began onsite to deliver WSHA’s ambitious 114-unit new build development in partnership with Springfield Properties site located beside Dalmarnock Train Station.  The project will deliver a mix of 60 social rented and 54 mid market rent homes ranging from 1 to 5 bedrooms, including wheelchair adaptable homes. 

The first social rented homes are expected to arrive in Summer 2022 with the mid market rent homes following shortly after in early Autumn 2022.

Springfield Cross, Glasgow

This development is located at the junction of London Road/Springfield Road and comprises of 36 one, two and three bed flats over 6 storeys. The homes will be created to meet Passivhaus Standard which reduces the building’s carbon footprint meaning the flats will require little energy use for heating or cooling resulting in low fuel bills for tenants. Completion is expected during the Summer/Autumn 2021.

Dundashill, Glasgow

In July, we secured grant funding to support the delivery of the 90 mid market Mid-Market Rented flats at Dundashill. The homes will be created to Passivhaus standard and will be a mix of 1 to 3 bedroom flats, including wheelchair adaptable with high quality landscaping, urban play area and stunning views over the city. We are expected to start on site October/November 2021.

South Lanarkshire

This development, funded by the Scottish Government and WSHA, will consist of 12 x 2-bedroom flats for social rent and will form be part of a wider redevelopment of the former St Andrews Church and surrounding land and buildings by Apsis Solutions (Construction) Ltd.  Apsis are converting the church into luxury flats for private sale and have demolished the former church hall and installed the shared infrastructure to make way for the new WSHA homes. The flats, due for completion in Autumn 2022, will be extremely energy efficient and provided access to fast speed fibre broadband.
